About Char Dham Yatra
The four pilgrim-intentions Yamunotri, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Badrinath altogether are called Chardham. Thetour starts from yamunotri after that to Gangotri, Kedarnath to finally Badrinath. Chardham is the most popular pilgrimage of NorthIndia.
Yamunotri is devoted to Godess Yamuna. Yamunotri Dham is the primary place in the Chardhampilgrimage. It is believed that dip in its water cleanse all our sins.
Gangotri is devoted to the Goddess Ganga. The river createsat Gaumukh from the Gangotri glacier.
Kedarnath is devoted to Lord Shiva & is too a part ofthe Panch Kedar. It is situated at oneof the remotest location and is believed to be built by the Pandavas. The holyplace is an architectural marvel for its ability to situate strong during unkindlands of nature.
Badrinath is devoted to Lord Vishnu. Adi Shankaracharya establish the idol of LordBadri in Alaknanda river and put it up in a cavern near the Tapt Kund. A Garhwal King got the holy placeerected which came to be known as Badrinath.
It is significant to be physically and mentally ready totake this journey as it is fairly difficult one. The Chardham yatra is usually complete throughout thesummers.
